Deathwave TV is proud to present our very first mini-documentary feature, “Rob Funkhouser & The Building of A Cristal Baschet.” We have long respected the Indianapolis, IN based artist Rob Funkhouser, and the many performances of his in our video archives demonstrate his long-time dedication to experimental sounds, instruments, and experiences. This feature explores the motivations and tribulations along Rob’s journey to research and build an esoteric and immensely rare instrument known as a “Cristal Baschet.”

This video was featured in a viewing room this past Summer at Rob’s recent exhibit/opening at Tube Factory Artspace, and we’re so excited to finally share the full video in Ultra HD resolution with the public.
